Genesee Regional Chamber of Commerce YouthQuest program receives $5K grant from Jennings Memorial Foundation

FLINT, Michigan — YouthQuest, a program run through a part of the Genesee Regional Chamber of Commerce, received a $5,000 grant from the Jennings Memorial Foundation.

YouthQuest is an after-school program. It is offered to elementary and middle school students in Flint and Genesee County at 15 schools in four school districts.

"We are very grateful to the Jennings Memorial Foundation for supporting our quest to provide a safe, learning environment for youth after school,” said Rhetta Hunyady, regional chamber group vice president, operations and employer education & training connection.

The foundation supports public education and charities in the Montrose area.
