YouthQuest provides a free, safe and innovative after school enrichment program where children can learn, explore and develop.  In addition to academic support, our program offers out-of-school activities for students at 15 elementary and middle schools throughout Flint and Genesee County, Michigan.  

One of the key areas of focus for YouthQuest students is volunteerism and civic engagement.  This program teaches children and teens to look beyond themselves and understand the role they can play in their community and country.  Our goal is for all students to not only be active “in” our community, but “with” our community.  YouthQuest students will have a voice through activities such as:

• Youth Advisory Council (YAC)
• Service-learning projects
• Volunteer activities on and off site
• Collaborative efforts with area nonprofits
• Community projects
