Potter Elementary School

Potter ElementaryYouthQuest is a comprehensive after school program that focuses on student learning and youth development. It is a school-based program that operates across multiple school districts in Flint and Genesee County. The program provides students at the elementary and middle school levels an opportunity to improve their academic skills, increase knowledge of good health and nutrition, grow their personal skills and become better prepared for future life and academic challenges.

YouthQuest staff at Potter ElementaryAt Potter Elementary YouthQuest students enjoy a wide range of activities, including fun with math, science, reading, spelling tutiorials, language arts, instrumental music, computer lab, health and nutrition, fitness, team building techniques/groups, arts and crafts, and sports.  Each week, there is a special activity planned by Mr. Jesse McGraw and the entire YouthQuest site team!

Daily Schedule:

  • 2:46-3:15 Check-In/Attendance & Dinner
  • 3:15-3:45 Homework Time
  • 3:45-4:45 Session 1, 2 & 3 Academic Enrichment
  • 4:45-5:45 Recreation/Social Development
  • 5:45 Dismissal
