YouthQuest is a comprehensive after school program that focuses on youth education and development. It is a school-based program that operates across multiple school districts in Flint and Genesee County. The program provides students at the elementary and middle school levels an opportunity to improve their academic and social skills, increase knowledge of good health and nutrition, grow their personal skills and become better prepared for future life and academic challenges.

At Kuehn-Haven Middle School, YouthQuest students enjoy a wide range of activities, including fun with math, science, reading, homework assistance, computer lab, videography, team building techniques/groups, photojournalism, traditional dance techniques and moves, art; water colors, sculpting, and sports.  Each week, there is a special activity planned by Ms. Anne McGeathy and the entire YouthQuest site team!

Daily Schedule:

• 2:45-3:00 Check-In/Attendance & Snack
• 3:05-3:30 Session 1 & 3 (Class Rotation)
• 3:55-4:45 Session 2 & 4 (Class Rotation)
• 4:45-5:10 Dinner
• 5:10-5:40 Homework Time
• 5:40 Dismissal
